Hi,

My Husband just got me 2 beautiful CB Australian Water Dragons for my B-Day July 9th and they're thriving.

I'm so happy with them and they started eating 5 minutes out of the shipping box. They were born May 16th so they're very young but we wanted them young so they could bond with us and be handled readily.

We're in Colorado and the breeder is in Oregan but shipped them both overnight. What really impressed us was he waited as late as he could to drop them off at the carriers the night before to avoid so much box.shipping time on them and they arrived energetic and ready to go. Of course we had everything waiting for them including food before they arrived.

We've raised and bred Bearded Dragons in the past but have always wanted the Aussies AWD's becuase they're such a hearty breed with a 20 plus years life span......hopefully in a couple of years ours will be ready to breed IF we got lucky enough to get a male and a female. If not we may have to pick up another that's older when these two are sexable.

Anyhow, knowing how hard it is to get these guys..., we thought we'd share our good news.

The attached is one of them Thor 8wks old just after breakfast..., he loves his food!!!

Suzanne and Kurt.

Welcome to the site- great pics and very cool critters!

Thanks!

We have quite a few..., all healthy and spoiled as they should be.

Got the Aussie's from Reeds Dragons in Oregan and the are doing BEAUTIFULLY and growing like weeds (update).

We have Bearded Dragons, The Aussies, Hermits, Whites tree Frogs and African Grey Parrot and 3 rescue dogs. We also raise all our feeders I.E. Superworms and crickets and everyone eats organic.

Gotta love them critters!!!
